My laid back lifestyle, lust for traveling to all places near water, love of sea creatures and photography are the source of my inspiration. I take in every sensory moment in a place, bringing depth into every creation.

Makenzie Kurz (b. 1991 Fredericksburg, Virginia) received a B.F.A. in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Savannah, GA in 2016 and holds a A.A.S. degree from Virginia Western Community College. Kurz’ acrylic paintings interpret the Bluemind through the language of impressionism and abstraction. She has exhibited internationally in Lacoste, France and nationally in Savannah, Georgia. Recognized in student exhibitions and local news station as an Up and coming Artist. Now residing in Charleston, South Carolina.
